Hello all,
Chuck Schlemm, Moon Society Nashville Outpost, exhibited at Vanderbilt’s Dyer Observatory Friday 8/23 during their public Telescope Night from 9-11:00. We spoke with ~75 of their ~150 guests.
We presented models of the Space Shuttle, Artemis SLS, Orion & Lunar Gateway, SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Starship, Super Heavy booster, launch tower and HLS Lunar Lander. Also showed Blue Origin’s New Shepard, New Glenn and Blue Moon lander.
We also showed models of 2 Mars bases, a Mars rover and an actual size Perseverance sample tube with Mars sample inside.
We received many compliments and thanks for the exhibit. Dyer continues to ask us back to help with their monthly program.
